The house Sleeps 11 + 2 cots.
The house has a small porch and a stone floored entrance hall with cloakroom, a spacious sitting room with wooden floors and log burner this leads on to the dining room with a large refectory table seating 12 this in turn looks through to the well appointed kitchen which is fully equipped to a very high standard with all mod cons. Including dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, magi mix, ice cream maker, hand blender, and hand juicer (for citrus fruits) amongst others. There is a large selection of professional stainless steel saucepans and knives and cutlery. There are plastic plates and cups for young children. There is also a bottle steriliser and bottle warmer for babies and a high chair.
The utility room contains the washing machine, dryer, ironing board etc. The children’s den is off the sitting room where we have a day bed which can be converted into a king size bed if you have guests staying, this is where we keep the younger children’s toys and games. From the sitting room you have French doors leading on to a long terrace and large south facing garden. The garden is enclosed. There is a teak table and chairs. The terrace is a sun trap and is great for al-fresco dining.
Bracondale house has been furnished with antiques bought locally and in France and decorated using fabrics such as Ian Mankin, Cath Kidston, Bennison, Mulberry, Cabbages & Roses; ultimately aiming to give a spacious calm and light feel to the House – we call it Sea side Chic!
